Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, architects, and construction workers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for clients and negotiate contracts
- Meet with clients regularly to discuss project progress and address any concerns
- Schedule and coordinate construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- 5 years of verifiable leadership experience, with a proven track record of successful execution
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction permits, legal requirements, and construction procedures
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing large projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong technical and computer skills for scheduling and budgeting
- Ability to manage risks, deal with change, and make sound decisions
- Calm, professional demeanor, and keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Flexible working hours, including overtime due to fast-track construction
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Bilingual speaking (English and Korean)
- On-call duty
