Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Dacor Education & Training will be responsible for articulating and shaping brand and product training strategy, serving as the strategic architect for training, educational programming, and content delivered to external customers and internal sales professionals – ultimately driving customer loyalty and sales growth.
This key leadership role will elevate Dacor’s understanding, presence, and promotion within the current retail and wholesale (dealer) footprint. The Senior Manager will develop, implement, and measure training strategy and initiatives across three core formats: live interactive, on-demand, and digital/e-learning. Additionally, the Senior Manager will be supported by two Regional Training Managers that deploy will approved training programming and support within their assigned East and West regions. Critical to this role will be a focus on continually impacting Dacor's business results, service excellence, and team development needs.

Role & Responsibilities
- Effectively partner with Dacor Brand, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership to ensure alignment on business and category priorities and needs
- Develop and execute an updated and comprehensive training and education strategy for Dacor, incorporating engaging content and training plans across all key formats for live interactive, on-demand, and digital/e-learning
- Leverage customer and sales leader insights to ensure that relevant training content is engaging and motivating towards encouraging increased consideration and sale of Dacor products to key stakeholders – consumers, designers, and builders
- Efficiently manage training budget and key projects and initiatives pipeline
- Develop key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business decisions
- Develop tools and methods for measuring and monitoring the impact of training; utilize findings to inform future programming and Monthly Business Reviews
- Lead Training Team weekly/bi-weekly conference calls to share updates and best practices, and identify gaps in training or other opportunities, sharing key learnings with Dacor leadership
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Training/Learning or Development experience in a fast-growing, premium/luxury environment
- Able to successfully develop training regimens for retail and wholesale (dealer) populations and own sales organization
- Excellent team player & collaborator, with proven ability to motivate and inspire direct reports and influence across multiple channels
- Ability to train managers to inspire employees to excellence as well as deal effectively with underperformance
- Capability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience level and size
- Project Management skillset with successfully managing multiple work streams simultaneously and the ability to prioritize, lead, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building skills, along with strong listening and observational skills, with a track record of successfully coaching retail leaders
- Experience leading and managing remote teams
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time or as required based on business need
- Experience in the appliances, luxury appliances, luxury plumbing, and building products or related industry
- Extensive experience with showrooms and retail associates, as well as experience in supporting education needs for industry professionals and trade associations
- Must have a strategic mindset, but be customer-focused and organizationally savvy
- Must have a working knowledge of educational media and platforms, and the ability to onboard new tools as needed
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software
