Role And Responsibilities
This position will be in the eCommerce Technology divison of Samsung Electronics America. Our platform powers Samsung’s eCommerce to the tune of $1.5B every year with millions of visitors per year.
To provide the customers optimal experience we need a performant, scalable and highly functional platform. The SDET team provides the critical function of certifying the same. Whether it is the offers/promotions we launch or a new capability we create for a frictionless customer experience or preparing the platform for the holiday traffic, this team plays a integral part.
This role plays an important part in testing the weekly releases, the core architectural changes to the product set up, the newly redesigned buy pages for certain lines of business, investigating bugs that causes customer friction points as well as preparing for the next set of launches in the coming months.

Skills And Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Modern Programming skills – Python, Typescript, NodeJS, Java
- Application testing frameworks
- Troubleshooting skills
- JIRA, Confluence, TestRail
- Understanding of automation with stub and mocked data from integrated systems
- Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Agile Testing Quadrants
