Role And Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Security is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies and procedures to protect our company, employee safety, assets, cyber-security and security operations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing consistent security policies, conducting critical trainings, and enhancing security measures.
Acting as the primary security contact, this role will build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement, to address security needs and mitigate risks. The role includes leading crisis management exercises, ensuring business continuity planning, evaluating security measures, and performing vulnerability assessments.

Role And Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Security is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies and procedures to protect our company, employee safety, assets, cyber-security and security operations. The role includes leading crisis management exercises, ensuring business continuity planning, evaluating security measures, and performing vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of security strategies, policies, and procedures
- Direct leadership across all Security Operations including; cybersecurity, physical security, forensics, investigations and surveillance
- Oversee cybersecurity ensuring unified approach to protecting sensitive data and digital assets; collaborate with other departments to integrate cybersecurity into their processes and systems
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with our business objectives and industry best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats related to cybersecurity
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies
- Advises cross-functional teams on technology selections and decisions to achieve target state cybersecurity on improvements to current cybersecurity parameters
- Work closely with legal and IT teams to prevent piracy, leaks, and unauthorized distribution of proprietary entertainment content
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, entertainment security regulations, and local laws
- Oversee physical security measures, including access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management
- Oversee security investigations team as they conduct investigations related though not limited to; security breaches, theft, or misconduct
- Develop and test emergency response plans, including crisis communication and disaster recovery procedures
- Lead crisis management and emergency response planning, including business continuity strategies
- Work with executive leadership, legal, IT, and production teams to proactively address security concerns
- Oversee security-related expenditures, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external security firms
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 14 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military security operations
- Experience in compliance as related to multi-jurisdictional privacy and cybersecurity programs;
- Experience with key privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, including (but not limited to) CCPA (and other US state privacy laws), GDPR, GLBA, COPPA, HIPAA, FTC Rules preferred
- Experience with data breach analysis and reporting requirements
- Extensive experience in corporate security, preferably in the entertainment, media, or technology industries
- Knowledge of security technologies, including access control, surveillance systems, and cybersecurity best practices
- Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies
- Leadership experience managing security teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments
- Crisis management, emergency response, and risk assessment expertise
- Strong communication and discretion when handling confidential information
- Strong knowledge of security risk assessment, emergency response, and crisis management
- Experience managing security personnel and overseeing security technology systems
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and respond quickly to security incidents
- Certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, is preferred
