We are looking for multiple experienced DONs for our various Assisted Living, Short-term Rehabilitation and Transitional Care facilities across the metropolitan Chicago area!
Duties
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with HIPAA regulations and promote patient confidentiality.
- Oversee patient care activities, ensuring that medical records are accurately maintained and reflect current treatment plans.
- Manage staffing schedules, including shift management to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Provide guidance on acute care practices and support nursing home operations to enhance resident care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and physiology knowledge to provide informed oversight of nursing practices.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other relevant healthcare guidelines.
- Conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff on best practices, compliance, and new medical protocols.
Salary
- $105,000 -$120,000 (DOE, Negotiable!)

Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Experience in Nursing Administration, preferably in a nursing home or similar environment.
- Must possess current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
