POSITION SUMMARY
This position may provide a liaison between Discipline Engineers, Project Managers and the Chief Discipline Engineer regarding the course of specific projects with respect to the discipline.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Plan, schedule and conducts detailed discipline engineering work with other disciplines. Assume “in-charge” responsibility and technical compliance with all codes, laws and regulations associated with a Professional Engineers role.
- Establishes schedules, budgets and scope documents to meet project requirements compatible with Customer’s and Company’s objectives.
- Coordinates the discipline’s engineering with that of the other disciplines.
- Directs and assigns the preparation of all discipline design drawings and specifications required for a project to those discipline personnel assigned to the project.
- Prepares and submits periodic reports and forecasts specific to project requirements. Fully understands work sequence, general content, and methods used to generate all required project discipline documents.
- Conforms to core values and assists others to adhere to them. Ensures quality and completeness of engineering functions.
- Though grasp of applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
- Understands and scope change control process and can identify scope changes easily.
- Familiarity with design engineering and drawing production programs and software.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL
- Sr. Engineer IV Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent and at least 10 years experience. Professional Engineering License is preferred.
- Sr. Engineer III Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent and at least 12 years experience. Professional Engineering License is preferred.
- Sr. Engineer II Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent and at least 14 years experience. Professional Engineering (PE) License is required. A minimum of 16 years relevant experience may be substituted for a PE license.
- Sr. Engineer I - Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent and at least 15 years experience. Professional Engineering (PE) License is required. A minimum of 17 years relevant experience may be substituted for a PE license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORKING CONDITIONS
Some overtime may be required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Occasional domestic and/or international travel and field assignments for periods of up to 6 weeks.
