Specific Responsibilities:

• Support for customers throughout the central eastern US (MI, OH, TN, KY)
• Commissioning and integration of AMR systems at client facilities throughout North America; including travel to customer facilities for on-site deployment and integration with other automated and simple equipment.
• AMR map modifications and improvements of software logic using 3^rd party systems and PLC logic 
• Optimizing system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation.
• Communicating project status and technical details to the customer and project team.
• Delivery of training to end users
• Troubleshooting software & hardware technical issues with internal and external teams
• Ability to travel for business within North America.

 Additional responsibilities: 

• Documenting product and process changes from lessons learned on site
• Working with the AMR System Integration team to improve tools and solutions
• Support technical set up for customer demonstrations and trade shows.
• Track and record all expenses such as job costs and travel 
• Ensure that all activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with RAMP and Samuel business policies
• Adhere to both internal and customer site health and safety rules and procedures

Qualifications

• Strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and written 
• 3 years of experience commissioning & integrating industrial automated equipment or software that interfaces to the equipment
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.  A passport and valid driver's license are required.

Education:

• College/University diploma or degree in an engineering, design, or industrial controls pr related field

Experience:

• Experience working directly with clients/end-users
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems/subsystems
• Interpretation and analysis of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• PLC design and integration experience including experience with various Controls platforms (i.e. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron etc.) 
• Self-motivated and organized with attention to detail
• Experience with AMR/AGV systems integration
• Training users of automated equipment/software
