ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzing data and market trends.
- Being the Voice of the Customer within SPVG.
- Creating a sales strategy to drive business growth.
- Developing and managing team members.
- Establishing strong relationships with existing customers.
- Forecasting orders/sales monthly.
- Works with marketing, estimating, and customer care, and will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy to increase business growth.
- Visits customer facility to evaluate current processes and new requirements.
- Acquire and analyze customer needs and problems, making recommendations to the engineering team to satisfy those needs and develop effective solutions.
- Prepares various drawings/models with CAD to facilitate concept and solution development.
- Accurately budget labor hours, materials, and third-party components to successfully build the equipment.
- Collaborates on projects with engineering, sales, and project management, ensuring quotes are developed in accordance with customer specifications, budget, and timing requirements.
- Leads project kickoff/handoff meetings and supports project execution as needed to ensure intended scope is maintained and projects are both profitable and effective for the intended use of the customer.
- Attend mining trade shows
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability creating a successful winning team - Sales management experience, preferably metal manufacturing.
- Experience sales forecasting and budgeting.
- Strong drive for results.
- Strong business acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a focus in sales, marketing, business administration, manufacturing or engineering (experience will be considered in lieu of education).
