RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform clerical duties in a storeroom setting.
- Receive and handle materials for storing in a storeroom using man sitting forklift.
- Handle storeroom supplies in an organized scheduled manner.
- Check received storeroom materials as against the documents.
- Perform physical checking of storeroom materials for breakages or damages.
- Display and organize products in a store for the customers (maintenance technicians) to locate easily
- Resolve customer issues relating to the condition of their stored items.
- Prepare inventory control of storeroom materials.
- Handle and record movements of incoming & outgoing storeroom materials.
- Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Ensure adherence of established safety standards of storeroom management.
- Use the Manager Plus (CMMS) system for spare parts control.
- Order inventory parts required to keep stock and standard requirements
- Maintained supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
- Handle record keeping and re-ordering systems.
- Submit purchase requisitions in the system for stock and make to order parts
- Perform maintenance repair kit program
EDUCATION
- High school education or GED equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of five (5) years storeroom clerk experience.
- Maintenance Experience
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sit-Down forklift driving experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptional work ethic and strict adherence to company policy.
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a storeroom clerk in a maintenance department for a manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with machinery parts.
- Experience determining equipment parts requirements for ordering
- Ability to identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic parts.
- Experience identifying parts from machinery drawings or bill of materials (BOM)
The base hourly pay range for this position is $21.60 - $22.80. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
