Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Organizes and maintains organization of pallets or any other material/products, as needed.
- Ensures the samples are properly labelled and identified per customer expectations.
- Works in co-operation with the Operator and Shift Supervisor.
- Operation of small tools including hand shears and mechanical shears as required.
- Prepares packaging in advance.
- Will be required to coordinate samples and other job duties with Quality Specialist.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word as data entry will be required.
General
- Complies with the designated IATF16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
- Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors. Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as always required
- Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards
- Strives for continuous improvement
Position Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and/or 1 year or less of job-related experience.
- Proficient with material handling.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Lift truck operation experience is required, preferably 1 or more years experience.
