What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper position at Samuel, Son & Co. 1855?

Prepares items for shipping using spacers, fillers, and/or protective padding, binds containers with metal tape, if necessary.
Post weights and shipping charges, affix postage or other necessary identifying information required for proper shipment.
Examine and ensure all outgoing shipments meet required shipping and customer specifications.
Ensure correct shipment of international orders.
Safe operation of forklift or hand truck to move or hoist shipments.
Building skids necessary for completion of shipments.
May be required to drive company truck between two facilities, both located in Angola. A good driving record is essential.
Prior experience using UPS software a plus, but not required.
Prior shipping experience a plus, but not required.
Detail oriented, providing service above and beyond what is asked for both internal and external customers.
Must possess excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
