The Senior Cost Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing costs associated with production, operations, and projects within the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and financial skills to collaborate across departments and develop accurate cost models and forecasts.
Main Responsibilities
- Monthly Financial Reporting: Analyze costing standards, validate data, and prepare reports on inventory transactions, work orders, and labor and overhead costs.
- Inventory Costing: Understand plant inventory costing methods, review machine productivity, and recognize cost savings opportunities.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare sales forecast data, estimate material costs, and develop cost budgets for specific projects and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Pursuing a CPA designation (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or related field.
