Processing Technician – (San Antonio, TX)

We are seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our new San Antonio Center, opening March 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing plasma units and samples for testing, freezing, and shipping, while ensuring a clean and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, label, and organize plasma units for testing, freezing, and shipping
- Maintain and monitor freezer temperatures, removing ice buildup as needed
- Manage supplies and inventory while ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Assist with loading shipments and disposing of biohazard waste
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in medical, laboratory, logistics, or inventory management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Comfortable working in a cold environment and handling bio-waste
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
