HR Coordinator Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree; 1 - 2 years’ human resources or related experience
- Effective written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- High degree of professionalism to maintain company and employee confidentiality
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive track record of managing multiple requests and a passion to learn all aspects of HR
- Curiosity, an engaging style, and an urge to seek out creative solutions
- Resourceful and the ability to work with limited supervision in meeting deadlines
- Proficient with MS Office and HRIS systems; experience with account management software and social media tools preferred
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology systems

HR Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Support recruiting process including job postings, and communications with hiring managers and candidates
- Coordinate and process pre-employment reference and background checks; draft candidate offer letters
- Manage onboarding of new hires including new hire orientation and benefits administration
- Administer 30, 60, 90-day check-in schedules
- Maintain benefits administration on various carrier platforms including electronic feeds
- Administer offboarding activities for departing employees
- Manage HRIS administration with ADP
- Assist with administration of HR related projects
- Proactively pursues expertise in HR and stays updated on general business trends and practices
- Assist/serve as a backup to event planning team as needed
