Job Title : CNC Programmer / Operator

Location : Kalispell, Montana

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer / Operator to join our custom cabinet shop. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality custom cabinetry components. You will collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Program CNC Router using CAD / CAM software to produce custom cabinet components.
Set up and operate CNC machinery
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design and industry standards.
Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Maintain accurate records of production and machine settings.
Collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Operator in a custom cabinet shop or similar setting.

Proficiency in CAD / CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).

Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
