Job Title: Systems Administrator

Join Samy’s Camera, Inc., a leader in the photographic industry since 1976. We're looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support and enhance our IT infrastructure across our Southern California locations. It is a full-time position, based at our corporate office in Playa Del Rey, Los Angeles. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and upgrade workstations, servers, firewalls, and network equipment.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve IT-related issues in a multi-site environment.
• Deliver user support for hardware and software issues.
• Travel to remote locations as needed for non-remote work.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies during on-call times.
• Collaborate with EDI consultants to maintain and support the EDI system.
• Help maintain PCI DSS compliance through proactive vulnerability assessments and server/workstation updates.
• Assist in QA and testing of internal business applications and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and support internal phone systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of IT support and system administration experience in a corporate environment.
• Ability to install, configure, and support a range of hardware (workstations, servers, firewalls, etc.).
• Strong Windows administration skills (including Office) and basic Linux skills.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Knowledge of information systems security fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to complete tasks accurately even under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Linux administration skills.
• Scripting or programming experience.
• Experience with EDI systems and PCI DSS compliance.
• Proficiency in VMware ESXi 7.x.
• MySQL or SQL database experience.
