What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support position at San Andreas Regional Center?
JOB SUMMARY : While maintaining good public relations with the community and implementing the vision of the Agency, this position assists with project planning and administrative responsibilities for the diversity and inclusion program.
RESPONSIBILITIES : This position will assist with project coordination of meetings, minutes, events, tracking grant activities and reporting requirements. In addition, the administrator will attend weekly meetings with Enhanced Caseload Coordinators and Diversity Inclusion Manager as assigned. The administrator will attend monthly team meetings with Community Events Coordinator, Language Specialist, SARC Diversity Inclusion Manager and other employees interested in language access including stakeholders such as Disparity Task Force, Community Based Organizations, and Family Resource Centers. Assist with some outreach events conference / presentation planning, and assist with promoting programs flyers. This position requires evening and weekend work as needed. This position may reside at any of the three San Andreas’ offices, due to the traveling requirement. Administrator will be ready to execute other administrative assignments as assigned.
EDUCATION : Training and experience equivalent to completion of twelfth grade. Three years of clerical / secretarial work experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong project schedule planning follow-up within timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
OTHER : Use of an automobile, possession of a valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or the ability to provide independent transportation.
