HOURLY SALARY RANGE : Minimum $12.90, Midpoint $16.12, Maximum $19.34
Primary Purpose
Provide reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the campus office.
Qualifications
Education / Certification
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge / Skills
Ability to use computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Effective organizational, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to operate multi-line phone system
Experience
Related experience and / or training
Major Responsibilities and Duties :
Reception
- Receive and direct calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
- Greet and direct campus visitors.
- Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes
Student Assistance
Assist with the receipt and distribution of student materials, including homework requests.Assist parents in checking students in and out of school.Clerical Support
Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries; and assist with preparation of materials for mailing.Maintain various computerized files such as reports, employee roster, and mailing lists.Assist with the scheduling of teacher-parent conferences, as assigned.Provide clerical assistance as needed.Maintain confidentiality.Professional Growth and Development
Maintain familiarity with district initiatives to better serve the needs of students and the campus.Participate in professional learning, staff meetings, and special events as assigned.Communication
