main routes i need contracted are zip code 78245 route parameters are Braun Rd / 1604 to Culebra / Talley Rd ..... but i do have a few others available.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for HOME DELIVERY of the San Antonio Express - News while ensuring papers are delivered by daily deadline of
6am Monday - Fri & 7am Sat - Sun
This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job. (Porch Deliveries or Apartments; lifting bundles of newspapers and loading your car)
Duties
- BE IN ATTENDANCE 7 DAYS PER WEEK (or have a friend that can cover for you on the days you may not be able to make it)
- Utilize your own personal vehicle to maximize your profits overnight
- At the beginning of your day you will verify your counts of each product in order to fulfill your route
- Follow designated routes for efficient delivery. You will be given a route list daily. FOLLOWING YOUR ROUTE LIST EVERYDAY WILL HELP IN MAXIMIZING YOUR PROFITS!!
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during route daily reporting to manager.
- Provide exceptional customer service to each and every customer by following the delivery directions to the best of your ability.
Skills
- experience in driving with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to potentially climb stairs, deliver to porches
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Capability to work independently yet still meet daily delivery deadlines efficiently
- Previous delivery experience is a plus, BUT NOT REQUIRED
