HHS (formerly known as Hospital Housekeeping Systems) is looking for self-motivated individuals to tend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. As a Housekeeper, you'll be part of a team supporting facility cleanliness. Experience is preferred but not required for this position. We will train the right person to excel in this healthcare environment. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and good time management skills. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily housekeeping tasks are completed at a level that leaves all guests (patients/visitors) satisfied.
Schedule: 6am to 230pm
Location: Christus Santa Rosa – Alamo Heights (By 281 and Sunset Rd)
Pay: $12hr

Housekeeper Job Description: Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.
- Reports to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for work scheduling.
- Performs daily cleaning procedures in accordance with HHS training videos in assigned areas.
- Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
- Polices assigned area at the beginning of each shift.
- Responds to Housekeeping pages.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by department Director.
Essential Functions:
- Able to lift 0 – 40 lb. frequently.
- Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
- Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
- Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
- Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
- Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
- Must have communication skills in English.
