Job Scope
Uses significant independent judgment and familiarity with the field to perform work. May be responsible for the
administration of various moderate and high complexity departmental programs and may lead a group of
employees. May develop policies and procedures and oversee the implementation and execution of them.
Position Summary
The CCMR coordinator is responsible for coordinating campus/district personnel and resources to improve student
outcomes and meet annual compliance requirements by TEA in all areas of college, career, and military (CCMR)
programming, to including PTECH, ECHS and magnets as applicable, and accountability, along with supporting and
improving postsecondary enrollment outcomes and the College, Career and Credentials grant requirements.
Examples of programs that fall into this area of responsibility include but not limited to: ECHS and PTECH
programs, CTE programs of study, CTE magnet programs, industry-based certification, military readiness, college
readiness (TSIA, PSAT, SAT, ACT), college preparation, and advanced academics (dual credit, dual enrollment, AP, IB
and honors). This role is responsible for monitoring and coordinating staff and resources to improve CCMR
indicators as outlined in the state’s CCMR accountability system. The CCMR coordinator must monitor and improve
outcomes by student groups that include students receiving special education services, economically
disadvantaged and other non-traditional student groups. This role will coordinate with other campus leads,
stakeholders, and the district office CCMR team to coordinate and annually improve postsecondary enrollment for
the campus.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with campus leadership, counselors, college-bound advisors, C3 Coaches, teachers, district
office, and other community partners and stakeholders to develop a campus “CCMR and Postsecondary
Campus Improvement Plan” that outlines roles and responsibilities with specific goals, objectives and
metrics.
2. Coordinate, monitor and improve the college and career models on the campus that include but not
limited to ECHS, PTECH, CTE magnet programs and pathways, and other advanced academic programs.
3. Maintain and hyper-monitor compliance requirements and key performance indicators to implement
rapid cycle change for specialized programs as outlined by TEA, TWC and other state agencies.
4. Support College, Career, and Credentials Coaches in implementing the C3 grant strategies and objectives.
5. Work with IHE partners to meet MOU requirements for Dual Credit courses and programming as it relates
registration, access, support, and completion.
6. Coordinate with CTE teachers to maintain advisory councils as required by college and career program
requirements (PTECH, ECHS, magnets).
7. Improve and increase work-based learning activities and opportunities for all high school students,
including those required by college and career program requirements.
8. Monitor student participation in programs and coordinate interventions for struggling students.
9. Work with employers and advisory board to plan program-related events.
10. Serve as primary point of contact for district CCMR and Post-Secondary Initiatives
11. Serve as primary point of contact for school staff and liaisons for CCMR and Postsecondary Initiatives
12. Coordinate scheduling and transportation for programs as needed.
13. Recruit and retain students for specialized college and career programs on the campus.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities
expected for this position.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years equivalent experience.
5 years of program coordination, coaching, program support or related experience.
Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee
(approximately $50.00) paid by the employee.
Preferred Requirements
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
8 years of program coordination, coaching, program support, or related experience.
Experience coordinating PTECH, ECHS, dual credit, or magnet programs.
Experience coordinating CCMR Accountability for a campus
Experience with Postsecondary Enrollment support
Experience coordinating or supporting students in preparing to become college ready through TSIA, ACT
or SAT
Principal or Counselor’s certification
Valid Texas teacher certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience working and organizing high school programming and CCMR accountability.
Strong communication skills, written and oral.
Demonstrated mastery of relevant technological capacities (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Demonstrate organizational skills required for planning annual technology fairs, mini-grant programs, etc.
Ability to teach technology skills and implement digital strategies to support instructional goals.
Develop tutorials for teachers and students.
Ability to assist teachers in developing and teaching integrated technology lessons.
Ability to conduct professional development sessions.
Provide individualized teacher support.
Implement and monitor technology initiatives such as: BYOD, 1:1 etc. Utilizing a variety of devices (Apple,
Google) and mobile device management systems.
Knowledge of hardware, software, policies, and procedures that support the school’s or district’s
technology implementation plan.
