We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, providing exceptional patient care while managing staff and resources effectively.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Manage office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to foster a productive work environment.
- Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable to ensure the practice's financial health.
- Implement and maintain office management protocols to streamline operations and improve patient experiences.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including managed care requirements.
- Familiarity with electronic dental software systems (ie Dental Intelligence, Modento) for patient management and record keeping.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to support clinical operations and enhance patient care delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental office management is essential.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software systems is a plus.
- Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting and billing processes.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of managed care principles and practices within a dental setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in office management tasks.
