Overview
JOB SUMMARY
The role encompasses 24 hour direct responsibility for the supervision and management of designated nursing units that provide direct and indirect patient care for an age specific population.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors degree in nursing or other health related field or agreement to enroll in Bachelors degree program within one year of accepting position.
Experience: Previous leadership and/or management experience; recent acute hospital experience in area of major assignment.
Knowledge and Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written. Able to work in a fast pace environment, able to work in a team environment and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments.
License/Certifications: A current California RN license, current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card, and ACLS & PALS.
Equipment: Basic knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. General knowledge of unit specific equipment.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements.
PAY RANGE
$62.84 - $94.26

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
