Position
SAS has an opening for a detail oriented Executive Payroll Specialist to process our Executive Payroll. This is a part time position (10 to 15 hours per week) and is an opportunity for an individual that is self-disciplined, organized, has attention to detail and the ability to deal with confidential material discretely.
Job Responsibilities
- Pay employees accurately and timely using ADP Workforce Now.
- Responsible for calculating and communicating commission payments to CFO.
- Maintain payroll information by inputting, reviewing, and verifying all new hires, terminations, and changes to employee records using ADP Workforce Now.
- Create/Maintain reports using ADP Reporting and Excel to share information with management and for internal controls.
- Responsible for maintaining and establishing security systems within ADP
- Serve as plan point of contact and administrator for 401(K) plan
- Responsible for maintaining and coordinating Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) reporting
- Responsible for coordinating worker’s compensation and 401(K) plan audits.
- Monitor federal, state and local taxes, Social Security contributions, employee benefit contributions, garnishments, and other deductions
- Maintain employee confidence and safeguard confidential information.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a stationary position.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for at least 4 hours a day.
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer, visual inspection, and prepare and analyze projects.
- Consistently be able to operate a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20lbs.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in payroll and/or audit experience
- Experience with ADP or comparable payroll systems is a plus.
- Must have strong skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access and Excel
