Position
SAS has an opening for a Direct to Consumer Content and Merchandising Specialist who is highly motivated, proactive and flexible to work in a fast-changing industry. You will be responsible for increasing sales across our websites and optimizing our ecommerce channels and well as providing guidance for our physical stores to drive consistency across all channels.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain product content, including creating and removing landing pages, product pages and other information as needed based on merchandising and marketing strategies.
- Create and maintain effective and attractive customer-friendly interactions.
- Leverage product pricing, content, and photos, as worth keeping of the brand, to ensure all content meets the needs of the brand.
- Ensure that we are leveraging all possible cross-selling techniques to increase average order size (AOV) via content creation.
- Stay on top of ecommerce trends; bring new ideas to the team including B2B/B2C.
- Review listings for best content and make updates as needed.
- Monitor social channels with social media specialist and track trending topics and hashtags.
- Manage social ad strategy, development and analysis.
- Work alongside design and marketing team to ensure content is informative and engaging by providing copy write for websites, emails and social
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years’ experience utilizing an E-Commerce platform, preferably SalesForce or Magento.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and follow through.
- A self-starter who enjoys taking on new challenges to expand his/her role.
- Willing to get involved in anything and everything with an "It Can Be Done" attitude.
- Self-starter that desires to take initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, open workspace environment.
- Ability to work well with a team or autonomously.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience Requirements
- BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Web Content/Design, or related field. Strong candidates can substitute experience and ability for higher formal education.
- Expertise with front-end web design, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript or other scripting/coding.
- Experience coding and integrating simple HTML web forms.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit or stand 8-10 hours.
- Ability to work in a stationary position.
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer, visual inspection, and prepare and analyze projects.
- Consistently be able to operate a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15lbs
