If so, we are looking for an Impact HBCU Fellow to help us build leaders and legacies where we live, learn, work, and play.
The Impact HBCU Fellow will join our Talent Academy program, which offers a unique opportunity for talented individuals to gain valuable insight and hands-on experience on how sports are used as a vehicle to unite people and make a difference. During the 10-week program the fellow will rotate across specialized micro teams within Impact which includes: community investments, community sports, transformative leadership, and inclusive engagement. During each rotation, fellows will engage in key projects and initiatives designed to deepen the impact on our community, staff, and players. These projects include but are not limited to supporting our community ticket program, coordinating civic engagement events, designing cultural and inclusive activations, assisting with youth basketball camps and clinics, and collaborating with key stakeholders to identify meaningful opportunities for players to engage and make an impact.
Through the Talent Academy program, the fellow will have opportunities for mentorship and professional development through SS&E’s corporate university, Spurs Sports and Entertainment University

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Impact team leaders to support special projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of programs, events, and community activation within each micro team.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support community impact goals.
- Evaluate Impact programming and provide recommendations to enhance and grow efforts.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to build skills in leadership, community engagement, and program development.
- Strong Interest in community and youth engagement, leadership, and social impact.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the community.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, and other computer skills.
- The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to travel across the city strongly desired.
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
