Do you have a passion for soccer and a talent for creating content that connects with fans? San Antonio FC (USL) is seeking a talented and creative Content Producer to bring the SAFC story to life across social media and digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your creativity will help shape the fan experience and grow SAFC’s brand.

As the SAFC Content Producer, you will capture, edit, and produce a variety of mobile-first content, including cinematic game highlights, behind-the-scenes features, and trend driven social media posts. You’ll use your expertise in video production and storytelling to craft dynamic content tailored to each platform, ensuring SAFC’s voice and culture shine through. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with your content distribution counterpart and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, high-quality content that engages fans and supports the club’s mission.

What You’ll Do:
  • Capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content for SAFC’s social and digital platforms, including cinematic highlights, behind-the-scenes features, and platform-specific posts.
  • Customize content to leverage the strengths of each platform (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), maximizing engagement and connecting with fans through a mobile-first approach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as PR, Marketing, and Partnerships to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and authentically represents SAFC’s brand and soccer culture.
  • Provide feedback during peer reviews, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and test new content formats and trends to drive innovation and fan engagement.
  • Assist with distribution of finalized content to channel owners and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Operate professional video, lighting, and audio equipment during both studio-based and field-based productions.
  • Use strong independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a fast-paced sports environment.
  • Assist in archiving and organizing content to streamline future projects and team needs.
  • Support adherence to organizational processes, best practices, and production standards across the content team.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Who You Are:
  • A Bachelor’s degree, technical degree and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, Audition, AfterEffects, etc.)
  • Proven editing reel
  • Working knowledge of all social media platforms including their sizing specifications (4:5, 16:9, 9:16 exports) and unique characteristics
  • Storytelling techniques across all platforms (long and short form)
  • Strong teamwork aptitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required
  • Experience using professional cinema cameras including RED and Sony FX cameras
  • Experience creating and producing branded content for sports organizations is preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing on the sidelines of a soccer pitch, walking up and down arena stairs, walking briskly to edit clips or run memory cards during games for content relevancy (frequent)
  • Constant finger dexterity is required to use a computer keyboard to complete tasks (frequent)
  • Sitting for long periods of time while editing (frequent)
  • Loading gear for production shoots, carrying gear from car to location (occasional)
  • Other physical requirements might arise based on the unique video shoots each season (occasional)
