The position is responsible for providing operational needs of the Parks and Grounds at The ROCK at La Cantera. The main focus will be to ensure all grounds are appropriately kept providing a pleasant atmosphere for public enjoyment. The role will require interaction with the public and guiding contracted partners as it relates to repairs and maintenance.
What You’ll Do:
- Follow instructions, safety practices, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure Parks are maintained in accordance with Bexar County Agreement and meets Public Safety expectations.
- Perform daily inspections equipment and infrastructure.
- Operate, maintain, and safeguard assigned equipment.
- Perform various maintenance at Parks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- At least One Year Experience working outdoors.
- Basic understanding of Irrigation systems.
- Experience working with contractors. and
- Experience dealing with the public.
- Must be comfortable working around dogs.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in changing weather conditions
- Constant walking to accomplish tasks. Walking paths may be unlevel at times.
- Able to operate a utility vehicle and tow a small trailer
