What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Behavioral Intervention Support (2025-2026 School Year) position at San Benito County Office of Education?
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services or designee, the Director of Behavioral Intervention Support is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing services, activities, and programs related to comprehensive behavioral management and interventions, including coordinating and assisting in the planning and facilitating of assigned programs, staff training, collaboratives, and school-linked services that direct behavioral services to at-risk children, youth and their families in alternative education schools, rural schools, early childhood programs, and other County schools/programs. San Benito County is tucked between the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Bay. The San Benito County Office of Education supports the diverse educational needs of school districts and students throughout the county. It provides extensive legally-mandated services and develops and implements numerous non-mandated resources and programs to support the schools and districts in its jurisdiction.
