Job Summary
Under the direction of a certificated teacher or specialist : Provides tutoring and support services to students in a classroom setting. Monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; perform instructional duties in support of the instructional program as required according to the established Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Selected applicants will need to provide proof of TB Clearance within 6 months and undergo a DOJ fingerprint background check prior to hire.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or equivalent is required. Training and experience working with special needs students is desirable. Candidates must satisfy one of the following requirements to be NCLB Certified : Complete two (2) years of higher education study (minimum 48 units), or obtain an AA degree, or possess formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing and mathematics readiness.
