Job Description

Summary Description :
Coordinate the activities of the water supply technology outreach program; communicate with District staff / faculty, educational, industry and community partners; work independently with minimum supervision.
Representative Duties :
The following duties are typical for this classification.
- Perform informational outreach services and activities for local high schools, targeted community groups, and industry partner agencies.
- Assist in the distribution of specialized information on water supply technology instruction and support programs.
- Work collaboratively with other support programs in the development and implementation of coordinated marketing, recruitment, and outreach activities.
- Conduct a variety of workshops and presentations.
- Represent the Water Supply Technology Program at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
- Participate in liaison activities with water agencies and community-based organizations that provide similar outreach services.
- Performs related duties as required.
