What are the responsibilities and job description for the Curriculum Specialist, Adult Digital Literacy #8349.02 (Establishing an Eligibility List) position at San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS)?
As a member of the Workforce SBCSS department, the Curriculum Specialist will assist in a wide variety of curriculum and instructional activities, including curriculum development and integration, assessments and data analysis, effective strategies and practices, evaluation of program effectiveness, grant writing and management, and building strong partnerships with the Workforce SBCSS community. The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Possession of a Master’s Degree in Education or a related field, from an accredited college or university;
•Possession of a valid California Designated Subjects Adult Education or Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential in a related field;
•Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential -or- Certificate of Eligibility (COE);
•Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in the technology-related courses applicable to digital literacy education;
•Two (2) years of experience in a lead or advisory position;
•Experience as a staff development facilitator/presenter.
Salary : $159,935 - $180,420
