State Preschool Assistant (3 Hours) at Levi Dickey State Preschool, Ontario - #8390.00

The State Preschool Assistant operates under the supervision of a State Preschool Teacher to provide care, instruction, and supervision of children in a County-operated State Preschool program under the direct supervision of a fully qualified staff member (State Preschool Teacher and/or Associate). The State Preschool Assistant only assists in the collaboration and presentation of activity plans. The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Experience working with preschoolers or infants/toddlers (paid or volunteer), including caring for one’s own children, volunteering in a classroom setting, babysitting, or other child care, and/or supervising child activities (this experience must be shown on your application and/or attachments).
