Teacher, Arts Enrichment #8373.00

The Teacher, Arts Enrichment will assist teachers, students, administrators, staff, and parents with instructional strategies that use the arts to accelerate and sustain student achievement. The Teacher will provide push-in support and work collaboratively with classroom teachers to incorporate arts in education. The individual will provide guidance and strategies on the integration of arts in Alternative Education classrooms. Experience in visual, performing, graphic, and/or media arts curriculum, must be demonstrated within your application package. The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Clear Multiple Subject and/or Single Subject in Arts teaching credential; • Five (5) years of classroom experience; • Experience with visual, performing, graphic, and/or media arts curriculum; • Valid Driver’s License for California and use of personal transportation required. (SBCSS vehicle not provided) Please note: If selected, the applicant must provide proof of possession of an original valid California Driver’s License during the new hire orientation process.
