The Job
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Linen Room Attendants who receive, sort, process and maintain the inventory levels of the hospital's linens. Duties include receiving and removing processed linen from delivery carts; unwrapping packages and sorting linen; transporting sorted linen to appropriate storage area; receiving linen exchange carts; inventorying and recording linen usage; performing routine data entry daily; restocking carts; identifying and processing unserviceable linen items; removing soiled linen carts; and performing housekeeping duties as required.
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Physical: This job may require frequent reaching, kneeling, lifting, carrying items weighing between ten (10) to fifty (50) pounds, and the ability to move eighty (80) pound containers.
Environment: Working conditions involve exposure to chemicals, infectious materials, heat, and odors.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.

SHIFT AVAILABILITY: Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS (DAY, SWING, NIGHT, ROTATING HOLIDAY and WEEKEND). Indicate availability on the Supplemental Questionnaire. You will not proceed further in the examination process if all shifts are not selected.
