We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commission & Payroll Reconciliation Specialist.
A commission and payroll reconciliation specialist ensures that a company's financial records match its accounting ledgers. They may also be responsible for processing payrolls and managing benefits. This is a direct report to the CEO. Firm anticipates this role developing into an Executive or “C” Level role with the right candidate and experience.
Salary based on experience, ranges from $50,000 to $75,000 and grow with firm

Responsibilities
- Review accounting records and banking documentation
- Identify and investigate discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
- Process payrolls, including regular, special, and supplemental payrolls
- Review and maintain payroll tax reports
- Reconcile advisor charges
- Implement and monitor compliance with federal and state laws
- Maintain payroll and deduction information
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- Financial Services Industry Experience is helpful
- Proficiency in Excel and Office Programs
- Ability to quickly learn firms system (Maestro, by Artisan Software) used for downloading and processing data from the various clearing firms, custody partners, mutual fund companies and insurance carriers
- Good "bed side manner" with advisors, vendor and brokers
- Accounting experience
