Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator -Willing to train!

San Carlos Orthodontics located in San Carlos is looking for an energetic, bright, and outgoing individual for our full time Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator position. We are looking for an individual that has excellent customer service skills and enjoys working with others. This individual must possess a genuine outgoing and positive personality. Must be a quick learner, a go-getter, responsible and eager to work.

We strongly prefer treatment coordinating experience but are willing to train the right person if you have a college degree, strong sales experience and customer service experience with excellent past employment references. We are not looking for an aggressive sales personality, instead someone that can close a sale showing honest compassion and caring towards our patients.

Pay scale: $27 - $36/hr. (Competitive compensation will be commensurate based on prior ortho experience.)

Position Hours: Full-Time(4-5 days/wk.)

Monday 9-6pm
Tuesday 8-5pm
Wednesday 8-5pm
Thursday 7:30-5p
Friday 8-1pm

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years of ortho chair-side experience HIGHLY preferred but willing to train the right person with an outstanding personality and recent long-term employment with excellent verifiable work references.
• Open to an ortho assistant willing to be trained as a TC
• Must be energetic
• Must present in a professional manner with no drama

Job Duties: (Individual will be fully trained on the following duties)

• Greet patients
• Backing up the main scheduling coordinator
• Back up and learn all Treatment Coordinating position
• Schedule all new patient inquiries and next visits for existing patients
• Backing-up the telephones by making sure no calls go to voice-mail
• Answer any/all patient questions
• Maintain the cleanliness of the patient waiting area
• Always have the practices best interest while at work and away from work
• Prepare all new patients and observations
• Patient and supervision recall charts for following day
• Maintain HIIPA compliance
• Presenting options to patients regarding retention plans and collecting payments
• Collect one-time charges for procedures when necessary
• Maintaining usual job duties as an employee (punching in on time, doing necessary OSHA training, and maintaining OSHA standards)
