San Diego Car Stereo is a Retail chain in San Diego County. We pride ourselves growing our business. As we continue to grow, W Are seeking a talented and experienced In-House Accountant to join our team and contribute to our success.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to fill the role of In-House Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and bank matching. Additionally, familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) Desktop is required. This is an in-house position, and remote candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection efforts
Perform bank reconciliation and bank matching on a regular basis
Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for financial record-keeping and reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Work closely with other departments to resolve any accounting-related issues
Provide support during audits and tax filings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience working as an accountant or similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks POS Desktop
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
CPA certification (preferred but not required)
