Responsible for educational, physical and emotional development of students attending SDCC and perform in a manner consistent with achieving overall organizational objectives. Plan and develop course of study according to curriculum guidelines of school district and state requirements. Actual curriculum must address the individual needs of students. Review psychological reports and IEPs (Individual Education Plan) on assigned students. Write, present and implement students’ IEPs (Individual Education Plan). Develop and present specific lesson plans, using a variety of techniques, including, but not limited to, lectures, projects, exhibits, field trips, audiovisual and library resources, computers, and the internet. Conduct standardized tests in accordance with district policies and state law. Keep records of academic performance, attendance, and social development. Report on all aspects of student development for school records and parents; conducts parent-teacher conferences as scheduled.

Salary : $66,560 - $67,000
