San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful renovated pool, a kids pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Director of Banquets to our Mission Bay Family.
The JOB:
As the Director of Banquets, you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences for our guests. This role is responsible for the execution and supervision of meeting space banquet functions. The Director of Banquets works closely with the Banquets team, Conference Services Managers, Culinary team and clients to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. This is a highly visible leadership role in which you directly impact the guest's visit and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!
Requirements
YOU:To be successful in this position, we're looking for an amazing people connector, who thrives on creating experiences and problem solving. This role as Director of Banquets requires skills such as organization, detail orientation and a genuine desire to take care of others.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 3 years of experience in Banquets
- Experience in leading large teams
- Strong time management skills and proven demonstration of grace under pressure
- Experience in taking care of guests in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule availability
The OFFER:
