We are stepping up our game at the new, water-front, full service 357 room San Diego Mission Bay Resort on beautiful Mission Bay and want you to be part of it! Now completely re-imagined, we're hiring a Manager of Resort Experience to create fun for our resort members and guests.
The JOB:
As our Resort Experience Manager, you will oversee the resort’s pool operations focusing on creating lifelong memories for the families that visit our resort. This position will help plan and execute family focused events designed to enhance the resort experience. You will also ensure that every visit to our resort pool results in a day full of fun. You will also plan and help execute special events for our resort members. You will also help lead the team during our resort team building events.
To be successful as our Resort Experience Manager:
- 60% (or more) of your day is working side-by-side your team. Think jumping to straighten pool chairs, helping a group of kids write the perfect letter to Santa, or singing along to campfire songs during s’mores night.
- 40% (or less) office time to ensure the administrative tasks are covered. You know the drill: scheduling, ordering supplies.
- You'll hire great people, showing, teaching, and guiding them to be welcoming, caring hosts and mentor them to grow in their own careers. Think “on-the-spot” service training.
- You'll connect with guests all day every day.
- Did we mention that you will spend most of your day outside in the beautiful San Diego weather, in sneakers and shorts? (now that’s a perk)
Requirements
YOU:
To be successful in this position, we’re looking for an amazing people connector, who thrives on training and sharing their experience from luxury, independent hotels, resorts or other recreation operations. We’re looking for someone who is very organized and who is as skilled behind the computer as they are entertaining Guests. You will be an instrumental part to reach our service goal to become a AAA 4 Diamond Resort. This role requires experience in a service focused leadership position and a high level of genuine, upscale guest service interaction.
THE OFFER:
In return, you are rewarded with a competitive compensation packing including, health benefits, free lunch, free parking, On-Demand Pay - Your Pay before Payday and Travel discounts at partner Noble House Hotels around the country! The rate of pay for this position is $70,096-$75,000 Yearly.
