Your role as an Executive Assistant to the SVP, Special Events :
You will provide daily administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Special Events and the Special Events Department.
You will perform a variety of clerical duties, including but not limited to executive calendaring, departmental expense reports, paperwork organization, client gifting, assisting with special projects, arranging travel, and partnering with both internal and external clients.

- Performing administrative and project support duties, utilizing independent judgment, considerable discretion, initiative, and tact
- Maintaining discretion of information that may be sensitive in nature with executive leadership within the Padres organization, Special Events department, the baseball community and the general public
- Providing general administrative support for SVP and department leaders, including but not limited to making copies, filing, running errands, ordering and picking up lunches, booking appointments and other tasks as assigned
- Providing clerical assistance for the SVP and the Special Events department, including screening incoming calls, mail, calendar appointments and faxes.
Receiving and responding to all internal and external communications in a timely manner
Arranging travel and accommodations for out-of-town VIP visitors

You will be required to meet the following :
Experience working with an executive or manager is preferred
Pay and additional compensation :
Per the California pay transparency law, the base pay range for this full-time position is $55,000 to $65,000.
This position is expected to receive overtime.
As a candidate for this position, your pay and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job-related skills and any other factors the San Diego Padres considers relevant to the hiring decision for this position.
