Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning residential and commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our clients. This role will start as limited hours, and we will ramp you up to more hours based on performance. PLEASE note you will only be working 5-15 hours per week in the beginning. Location
You will be traveling to various homes throughout San Diego to clean on-site. Owning a vehicle is a must in order to travel to work locations.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels as needed
- Manage housekeeping tasks such as organizing spaces, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors to ensure they are presentable.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during each cleaning visit.
- Following a detailed cleaning checklist during every cleaning
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning supplies in accordance with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial cleaning techniques and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing additional care or sanitation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus but not mandatory.
