HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION The Guest Services Representative encourages people to join and support San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance while providing the highest levels of guest service. This position promotes, sells, and processes various categories of tickets, tours, memberships, donations, and subscriptions. This position will report to a Guest Services Supervisor. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Processes and verifies a variety of passes.
Processes cash and credit card transactions.
Trouble shoots membership and ticket concerns and elevates issues as needed.
Assists with special events as needed.
Checks in tour and school groups.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Bilingual applicants are highly desired.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Customer service or hospitality experience
Cash handling experience
Experience in Sales
Familiarity with Galaxy or other Point of Sale Ticketing Systems
Working in a fast-pace and/or theme park like setting
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Ability to accurately enter data into a point-of-sale system.
Able to learn the procedures and benefits of membership.
Able to accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
Able to work in fast-paced sales environment.
Able to work successfully with teams and with others.
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of sales techniques.
