HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSIONThe Reservation Sales Representative sells SDZWA products for Admission, Memberships, Tours and Programs. This position reports to Reservation Sales Supervisor.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Services incoming calls in a sales and customer service call center, selling SDZWA products for admission, membership, tours and programs, booking reservations, processing payments and fulfilling ticket requests. Provides excellent customer service per established standards in every member and guest interaction inspiring visitation in support of our mission and vision to ensure all wildlife thrives.
Solicits allies through donations on every applicable call in support of our mission and vision to ensure all wildlife thrives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Desirable qualifications include communication skills; ability to handle a variety of transactions; ability to learn the procedures and benefits of membership and special experiences. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Part-time team members will be required to attend in person training and work up to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 2 - 3 months and could be extended as necessary due to continuous mandatory training. Once training is completed, team members will move into a hybrid schedule and report to office once a week – subject to change depending on operational needs. For a successful hybrid work environment team members must have a quiet designated home-office, free from excessive noise and distractions with access to high-speed internet for optimal productivity. Team member must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. During peak operation periods (Summer, Holidays, etc.), schedule may increase up to 40 hours per week.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in sales, customer service or telemarketing (call center preferred) involving customer contact required.
Bilingual Spanish language skills preferred.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Able to operate moderately complex computer software programs.
Must have basic mathematical knowledge and acumen to process payments.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex interpersonal situations with a high level of tact and diplomacy.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
