Certification Details
- BLS - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification is required.
- PALS - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification is also required.
- ACLS - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification is necessary.
- NRP - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification, or NICU, L&D, Postpartum RNs certification, is accepted.
License/Certificate Verification and Vaccination Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory.
- MMR - Proof of 2 vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity is required.
- Fitness Test - Annual Respirator fit test is necessary.
- Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.
- Influenza Vaccine or declination is required.

- Tdap vaccination is mandatory.

Job Details
- RN Emergency Room at San Dimas Community Hospital position is available.
- Current and valid state RN license is required.
Job Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- The Registered Nurse directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
- The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department.
- Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker.
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred.
- Covid vaccination/boosters preferred.
- EDAP 1 and 2
- BVP (MAB) training.
