ID#31224A - Clinician is responsible for providing direct mental health services to children/adolescents and their families in an outpatient clinic setting. The clinician is expected to abide by the agency regulations regarding record keeping; will work together with other involved agencies (i.e. DCFS, Probation) to coordinate treatment; and will demonstrate appropriate therapeutic and ethical practices at all times.
Duties Include:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to minors.
- Participate in multi-systemic treatment that may or may not include educational, psychiatric, legal, and social services, and acts as coordinator of all such services.
- Responsible for documentation including assessments, log sheets, progress notes, and additional documentation as necessary.
- Develop interventions that target challenges presented by multiple systems (school, peers, community, family, and individual).
- Provide case management and linkage for family to assist with improved family functioning.
Qualifications
All applicants MUST be licensed as a master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field and registered as a Marriage Family Therapist Intern or an Associate California Social Work, and also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting. All applicants must also have a valid California Driver’s License is required. Be able and willing to work two evenings per week. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Salary : $64,480 - $66,480
