Description
ID# C10025A - Under supervision of Assistant Director, responsible for day-to-day management of the Child/YA FSP Programs. Provide clinical and administrative supervision of staff and ensure compliance with contracts and regulatory agencies. Also maintain ethical standards of licensure and complete continuing education as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide clinical and administrative oversite for two (2) Program Coordinators: one for Child FSP; one for Young Adult (YA) FSP
Provide administrative and clinical supervision (or oversight of designee) of Mental Health Clinicians and Mental Health Counselors, Parent Partners/Advocates and administrative oversight and support to Administrative Support Staff at the Child and YA FSP programs.
Work collaboratively with public and private organizations (DMH, DCFS, school personnel, Juvenile Probation, Regional Center, and other community based organizations), to effectively implement and coordinate services.
Assign clients and provide clinical training, consultation and support to clinical staff.
Responsible for overseeing that the productivity requirement set for the program is achieved, and responsible for monitoring this with each individual staff member to ensure that this essential job requirement is met.
Responsible for ensuring staff members complete and submit all paperwork within required timelines, including progress notes within 48 hours, assessments, treatment plans, outcome measures, etc., by specified due dates, and all other documentation timelines as indicated by contract and Center policy.
Provide training and oversight to ensure clinical staff are implementing Collaborative Documentation with the majority of clients.
Responsible for oversight of chart utilization review. Maintain program adherence to Center and contractual protocols and procedures.
Participate in interviewing new candidates and responsible, in collaboration with the Assistant Director, for the hiring process.
Ensure strength-based, family-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed approaches/interventions with clients/caregivers.
Oversee implementation of the Shared Core Practice Model.
Attend program specific County and Service Area 2 meetings and Center-wide management meetings (Joint QI, Child/TAY QI, etc.).
Demonstrate cultural humility during the provision of clinical supervision, consultation, and service delivery.
Provide Crisis Intervention Services as needed. Provide LPS On-Call Services as part of the LPS After-Hours on-call rotation.
In collaboration with Admin Staff, provide oversite of the Center’s LPS rotation schedule.
Facilitate quarterly meetings with all LPS Designees in the Child/TAY Division (e.g. clinical support, strategize needs, discuss trends, etc.).
Qualifications
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university and licensed in the state of California for a minimum of two (2) years.
Ability to provide clinical supervision based on BBS
guidelines/requirements. At least one (1) year in a supervisory or management position in a related setting.
Knowledge regarding Child and Family Mental Health, Transitional Aged Youth, Family Systems and Family Strengths-Based approaches, as well as of Child Welfare and Juvenile Probation Services highly preferred.
Ability to multi-task and assume responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of the Child/YA FSP Programs in all capacities.
Must pass the Department of Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
Valid California Driver’s License is required. Must meet guidelines of agency’s driving criteria (i.e. Proof of liability insurance, minimal moving violations, driving record free of DUI’s or reckless driving in the last 3 years, etc.), and maintain the criteria as per company policy at all times.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must act in accordance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and related state law confidentiality requirements. Must successfully complete the Center’s HIPAA training, pass the HIPAA test, and receive the Certification of Compliance.

Possess valid Class C California Driver’s License and driving record meets SFVCMHC, Inc. insurance requirements.
