This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to make a positive impact on a community’s pets and pet parents by helping us define and deliver a 5-Star veterinary clinic experience.

What you’ll be doing:

Under the direction of the Client Service Manager and in cooperation with the entire hospital team, you will coordinate and provide a broad range of administrative and customer support activities, while ensuring that every pet and pet parent has a five-star experience.

  • Attention to detail
  • 1-2 years experience working as a skilled CSR in a veterinary field is required
  • Experience with emergency veterinary services preferred

The nitty gritty (in case you want the specifics!):

  • Provide effective and compassionate communication and help facilitate correspondence between clients and doctors
  • Interact with clients via email, text, over-the-phone and in-person to obtain vital patient information and/or to provide client information in a solution-orientated manner
  • Increase treatment case acceptance by confidently providing clients with estimates and various payment options
  • Acquire necessary signatures and appropriately upload and/or file estimates, consent forms, and other important documents
  • Helping facilitate domestic and international health certificates for traveling patients
  • Process payments, deposits and refunds
  • Request and import medical records, lab reports & other diagnostic materials
  • Schedule appointments including medical, dental and surgical procedures
  • Create and maintain accurate written records as it relates to client communication, appointments, practice activities, patient care, client concerns, and finances
  • Appropriately direct questions and escalate more complex communications to the clinical team or the Client Service Manager
  • Assist the front desk team when necessary
  • Efficiently operate a computer in a Windows or cloud-based environment
  • Operating a multi-line phone system and familiarity with desktop applications
  • Learn and suggest improvement for optimizing usage of practice management software
  • Operation of and the ability to troubleshoot the function of various office machines, including but not limited to desktop and mobile workstations, telephones, credit card terminals, printers and document scanners
