Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, which offer luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specializing in mental healthcare for older adults (age 55 and over); and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.

Position Overview
The Financial Project Manager oversees and manages the financial aspects of projects within the organization. They will be responsible for handling all projects related to financial processes, systems and strategic initiatives. In addition, this role will monitor project performance against financial targets, track project costs, prepare and communicate updates and financial information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight:
- Oversee and manage projects that impact financial aspects of the organization
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish project budgets and ensure compliance with financial goals and objectives.
- Project Budget and Forecast Management:
- Assist departments in creating and managing accurate financial forecasts and budgets for various projects.
- Monitor and track ongoing project budgets, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret project financial data to identify areas for improvement in processes, performance, or cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement solutions to ensure projects are kept on budget and on schedule, optimizing financial resources.
- Internal Controls and Governance:
- Establish and enforce appropriate internal controls and project governance to ensure financial integrity and project success.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Design and Execution:
- Support the design and execution of financial project implementation processes, including business requirements gathering, process documentation, and solutions design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all project deliverables align with business objectives and financial expectations.
Required Experience and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in financial project management, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Proven experience in overseeing project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management tools and financial management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and financial targets are met.
Pay Range $135-$153K
Salary : $135,000 - $153,000
